Where I landed ON FEELING.

Situation: Lately when I’m alone, I’ve been feeling overwhelmed and self critical. To cope, I’m just feeling less.

1: Oh, boo hoo, you had a bad day, and now you’re saying you’re depressed? That’s like saying you lost a few hours of sleep and now you’ve got insomnia. Have some respect for people who actually struggle with real depression!

2: Depression is a serious illness! You need to take care of yourself, see a doctor, and get medication to help. Being medicated for the rest of your life is the only path to feeling better!

Where I landed: Continue to ignore how I feel.
